What is this About ?

The Sickle Cell Retinopathy Network is a global research initiative working to establish evidence-based consensus guidelines for the management of sickle cell retinopathy — a sight-threatening complication of sickle cell disease.

We are conducting a Delphi study to gather expert opinions from:

  • People living with sickle cell disease
  • Carers and family members
  • Ophthalmologists, haematologists, and other doctors
  • Nurses, optometrists, and allied healthcare professionals

Your experience and insights are critical.

What to Expect ?

  1. Participation involves answering a short survey (10–15 minutes).

  2. Your responses will remain anonymous.

  3. You may be invited to participate in 1–2 follow-up rounds to refine consensus.

  4. You can skip any question or withdraw at any time.

Why Your Voice Matters ?

By participating, you are helping shape clinical guidelines that will directly impact care for thousands of people living with sickle cell disease. Your unique perspective is a vital part of this process.
